    Under Laboratory Manager supervision the candidate should be accountable of multiple analytical organic processes of substantial variety and complexity:

    • Performs routine tests and procedures and uses GMP/GLP practices.
    • Apply skills to perform published methods that are of complex nature with little or no aid from senior laboratory staff.
    • Performs calculations, prepares reports, and assesses proper calibration and standardization of equipment and procedures.
    • Implements tests and procedures requiring selection and adaptation of test equipment and test procedures. Records and analyzes data. Prepares written reports and procedures.
    • Performs Instrumentation, Software, Methodology Troubleshooting, and Complex Assay.
    • Applies client specific requirements to perform specialized testing.
    • Supervises staff to carry out laboratory analysis according to established methods and meeting Quality Control (QC) standards.
    • The Senior Chemist will verify and classify staff level of autonomy; uses reference materials and proficiency tests to determine team level of knowledge.
    • Train & motivate reporting staff, set goals, review performance and assess training needs.
    • Schedules production workflow respected client deadilines in a timely and monitors throug performance.


    Required Qualifications & Skills


    University Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline plus generally 4 /5 years of laboratory experience.

    Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and other software, as well as the ability to troubleshoot instrument failures using fundamental theories of operation
