    As one of our major business divisions, EMERGO, deals with the certification and compliance of Medical Devices and is a leading consultancy with more than 2,500 medical device and IVD clients worldwide. Due to their ongoing growth and success, we are looking to hire a Business Development Manager that will focus on the European region and may be based anywhere in Europe.

    The successful candidate will manage and coordinate on an industry basis with UL larger customers over all related industries. The position will involve developing strategies with national sales managers to generate revenue growth and achieve bookings goals across the medical device sector.



    • Manages and coordinates on an industry basis with UL’s larger customers
    • Work closely with the national Sales Managers to develop BD strategies and identify customers on a European basis
    • Responds effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues
    • Develops and coordinates executive presentations and de-briefing
    • Assists industry leadership in the development of global account strategies, goals and plans
    • Focuses on customer satisfaction, account growth and expansion of services provided, and sustaining customer loyalty for a group of key customers.


    • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor degree) in Business Administration, Marketing or a related disciplines
    • Good understanding of regulatory clinical and medical environments
    • Solid experience in high-value corporate account management
    • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, acquire and manage high value customer accounts
    • Ability to sell at the highest level with a compelling value-add strategy approach
    • Detailed understanding of the applicable industry product lines and target markets
