    UL Product Supply Chain Information (PSi) delivers the information and resources that enable companies (in the process/chemical/plastics industries) to manage their complex global supply chains transparently, holistically and efficiently.

    The search engine PROSPECTOR is the leader in vertical search for raw materials and ingredients for plastics, cosmetics, cleaners, coatings, adhesives, inks, lubricants, food and beverages.

    The online services include lead generation, data management, media, as well supply chain information solutions.

    With WERCStudio, GHS Pro and WERCSmart, UL provides global solutions for multilingual hazard communication management software and services, retailer compliance, chemical materials management, supply chain compliance and green chemistry.

     

    Responsabilità

     

    Under minimal supervision, the Senior Sales Executive is responsible for:

    (1) new account development and acquisition and

    (2) increasing account share and account penetration with existing customers, within a territory defined by geography in EMEA, industries, company size and assigned accounts. This position sells UL PSi services to customers in the assigned territory, industry or to a group of assigned accounts (50 to 100 named accounts per account executive is the norm). 

     

    • Identifies and pursues prospects through various lead generated activities, in conjunction with the Marketing and the Lead Development team, including tradeshow, direct mailing, advertising, cold-calling, on key industry players and referral program.
    • Meets with prospects to understand their purchase decision makers, decision making process criteria, and their needs.
    • Develops sales presentations for potential new clients. Leads the sales presentations in support of growing the clientele for UL PSi services.
    • Responsible for meeting with and presenting to complex and/or high-profile current and potential clients.
    • Provides value propositions, handles objections, prepares quotes, and closes complex sales.
    • Focuses on customer satisfaction, account growth, expansion of services provided, and sustaining customer loyalty for a group of complex and/or high profile managed accounts.
    • Builds relationships with various management levels, divisions, and functional departments of managed accounts.
    • Collects and maintains information, including business plan, from managed accounts so as to understand their purchase decision makers, decision making process criteria, and business opportunities and threats.
    • Responds effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues.
    • Identifies and resolves a wide range of issues with little or no supervision.

     

    Qualifiche

     

     

    • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor degree) in a related discipline
    • Experienze and proven track record in selling software and/or services to large or mid-sized companies in the process industry (Chemical, Food, Plastics, ...)
    • Experience and proven track record in Solution Selling
    • Profound understanding of the process industry
    • Understanding of the complex sales process
    • Strong skills in formulating and closing deals 
    • Extensive knowledge of sales processes in the B2B environment, with demonstrated strong performance  in solution selling in either the
    • software or engineering branch to upper management and C-Level.
    • Strong personal drive and success orientation.
    • Teamplayer, Intercultural experience and awareness
    • Ability to build networks in existing accounts and identify and act upon up and cross selling opportunities.
    • Proven ability to work from home office and with little supervision.
    • Willingness to travel extensively.
    • Preferably an Italian native speaker with strong English language skills.
